Singer/songwriter Warren Barfield will be in concert twice at Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church here in Lawrence on Thursday evening, October 19. Concerts times are 6:30 and 9:30 with the latter time more oriented toward college students. Warren is a phenomenal performer whose style is acoustic/folk/soul. Cost is $5 at the door. Coffee and cookies will be available for purchase.
You will not hear another performance of this caliber for many times this price. Please, do yourself a favor - don’t miss it!

The concert was great! He is an amazing performer, working the crowd with his offbeat humor and ad lib lyrics. For example, the first thing he did after walking onto the stage and picking up his guitar was to go over and say something in the ear of his bass player. He then started singing “I bet you wonder what I just whispered in his ear. Well I’m not gonna tell you. We’ve got secrets up here . . .” Fun show, but very moving too.
Warren is AWESOME! Kind like Harry Connick, Jr., only with Jesus.
Looking forward to seeing him up our way in a couple weeks!
